Busy/Quiet pieces

These are pieces I did for an on line class. the assignment was to have 10% busy area, 20% or so transition, and the rest quiet. I really love how they turned out.

These are collage pieces which will be turned into Quiet/Busy pieces for a class. The next step will be masking most of the collage leaving just an area that is busy. I haven't tried it yet but other students are having trouble with it. I used handpainted papers, my own handwriting, vintage papers, and a few magazine images.
